Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
1. Overview
This page explains how cancellations and refunds work for SellerSalt subscriptions. It adds to, and does not replace, Section 5 ("Subscriptions, Billing, and Seats") of our Terms of Service.
2. Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time yourself, from Settings → Billing & Plan, with no need to contact support. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access to your paid plan until then, with no additional charge afterward.
3. Refunds
We do not offer prorated or partial-month refunds for an unused portion of a billing period, except where the law requires it. If you believe we charged you in error, for example a duplicate charge, a charge after you cancelled, or a billing mistake on our side, contact support@sellersalt.com and we'll review it. We refund legitimate billing errors in full.
4. Failed or Declined Payments
If a renewal payment fails, we (and, where Paddle is your payment provider, Paddle's own automated recovery system) try to notify you and retry the charge before restricting any access. If payment keeps failing after this grace period, we may pause or downgrade your subscription until it succeeds.
5. Payment Providers & Merchant of Record
Depending on your region and plan, we bill your subscription through Stripe, PayPal, or Paddle. Where Paddle is your payment provider, Paddle.com Market Ltd acts as the Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for that transaction. Your receipt, invoice, and card statement will reference Paddle, and Paddle's own consumer terms apply alongside this policy for that payment. This does not change the cancellation and refund terms described above.
6. Data After Cancellation
If you downgrade or cancel your plan, we keep your account and connected store data for ninety (90) days before we permanently delete it, so you can resubscribe without losing your research history. You can request earlier deletion at any time from Settings → Data & Exports.
